Boys currently in 2nd-8th grade are welcome to join Cadets Boys’ Club. Our club meets roughly every other Wednesday evening from September – April.
Purpose
Cadets provides an opportunity for boys to study the Bible together while experiencing the wonder of God’s creation and learning hands-on skills.
Regular meetings, held at Cottage Grove Church, include a time of Bible lessons, badgework and/or projects. We also have special activities, such as an annual fall campout and spring car derby.
A bit of our history
We are a local club in a ministry to boys around the world.
1952 – Organization established as Calvinist Cadet Corps.
1960 – Local clubs organized at Cottage Grove and First Christian Reformed Church of South Holland
2006 – Clubs at Cottage Grove and First CRC join forces
